The Social Services Sub-Committee

The Social Services Sub-Committee, Chaired by Hon. Saint Kabu (Assemblyman for Okesekor) paid a visit to some transport unions in the municipality to assess their operations, identify challenges and seek ways to improve transport services and commuter safety.
The Sub-Committee, on Tuesday, 21st July, visited the Teshie First Junction, Tsuibleoo and the Lascala Transport Unions.
Hon. Kabu, indicated that the Committee’s mandate covers sanitation, health, markets, schools, transport, youth development and education as such the need for such stakeholder engagements which will yield benefits to the people.
Prior to the transport unions’ visit, the Social Services Sub-Committee had toured some pre-schools in the municipality to assess their status, challenges and the way forward.
