In a significant step towards bolstering the government’s vision for a 24-hour economy, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ledzokuku, Hon. Israel Adjetey Otchwenmah, participated in a crucial stakeholders’ engagement meeting on the upcoming rehabilitation of street lighting across the capital on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025.
The meeting at the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition brought together key actors to fine-tune strategies for the massive infrastructure project. The initiative is designed to provide reliable and efficient street lighting, a critical backbone for the safety, security, and economic activity required to sustain a vibrant 24-hour city.
Hon. Otchwenmah joined his colleague MCEs from various municipalities within the Greater Accra Region, underscoring a collaborative regional approach to the project. The meeting also saw the presence of Municipal Coordinating Directors and other technical officials, ensuring that both political and administrative perspectives were aligned.
