The Hon. MCE, Mr. Israel Adjetey Otchweemah, held the inaugural Municipal Health Committee Meeting on December 16th, 2025! Joined by the Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Mrs. Rhodaline Adwoa Conduah and key health leaders like the Municipal Director of Health Services, Mad Gifty O. Ansah, Medical Superintendent for LeKMA Hospital( Dr. Akua Gyimah Asare) the team came together to discuss vital health issues in our community.
During the meeting, the Municipal Director presented an insightful overview of our healthcare landscape, highlighting critical cases such as malaria and hypertension, and addressing the concerning rise in maternal deaths. But fear not! The MCD reassured us that while challenges are many, we’re committed to tackling them one step at a time.
