GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL CO-ORDINATING COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2024 BUDGET OF LEDZOKUKU MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

The 2024 Budget was presented by the Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Mr. John Tsikor and the Municipal Budget Analyst Mad. Patience Danku at the Accra Beach Hotel, Nungua on the 11th October, 2023. The presentation touched on all aspects of functions of the Assembly, these included Roads, Education, Agriculture, Health, Environment, Sanitation, Tourism and Infrastructure among others.
It also covered vision, mission and cover function of the Assembly, financial performance of the Assembly in Revenue Mobilization and Expenditure.
In 2023 the Assembly budgeted for GHC 22,939,546.60 and collected GHC 10,799,956.50 as at August 2023. The presented budget included projects undertaken in 2023. They included Educational infrastructure, foot bridges, renovation on Health and Educational infrastructure, re-construction of roads, local economic activities and sanitation.
It also budgeted for Government flagship programmes and adopted policy activities. The budget also presented Revenue and Expenditure projections and projects to be undertaken in 2024
