he Social Welfare and Community Development Department of Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly has disbursed funds to Persons With Disability (PWD’s) within the Municipality.
A 3% deduction from the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) is given to PWD’s as support for income generating activities, healthcare, education or capacity building. The fund is disbursed often as financial assistance or equipments based on the request or needs of the PWD’s.
A heartfelt gratitude to the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Israel Adjetey Otchewmah, MP for Ledzokuku, Hon. Benjamin Ayiku as well as Hon. Emmanuel Kabu Saint, Sub-Committee Chair for Social Services, for their active role and immense support in ensuring the success of the event.
