DEVELOPMENT PLANNING UNIT HOLDS TRAINING SESSION FOR MUNICIPAL PLANNING AND COORDINATING UNIT (MPCU) MEMBERS AND STAKEHOLDERS ON PREPARATION OF ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT (APR).

The Development Planning Unit headed by Madam Belinda Wusa Manga, has organized a successful training session for members of the MPCU and Stakeholders at the Bethany Presby Church – Nii Jorn, Teshie, on Thursday, 22nd January, 2026.

The Annual Progress Report is a key planning and monitoring tool for assessing performance and as a guide for future development interventions.

The training sought to build the capacity of newly recruited staff and refresh the knowledge of existing staff on the correct procedures for reporting on the Assembly’s APR, and to strengthen their understanding of the reporting standards and the need for data accuracy in alignment with the NDPC’s guidelines.

The facilitor for the training, Mr Isaac Eweh, Chief Development Planning Analyst, NDPC, provided practical guidance and clarifications to enhance quality and consistency of the Assembly’s APR.

He mentioned that it is imperative to include all stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and workable plan.

The session was participatory, interactive and insightful.
