REGIONAL SANITATION DAY MARKED BY LEDZOKUKU MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY ON FRIDAY 28TH FEBRUARY, 2025
The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo has initiated the Regional Sanitation Day to be marked on the last Friday of every month.
This initiative is in line with His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda for the reintroduction of the National Sanitation Day.
The Hon. Minister seeks to promote environmental cleanliness, improve public health and foster community participation in waste management through this initiative.
The clean-up campaign was spearheaded by the Environmental Health Department and the Sanitation Task Force for Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly with the full support of the Municipal Coordinating Director, Rhodaline Adwoa Conduah(Mrs.) and Staff of LEKMA as well as residents within the selected areas.
The exercise took place at the environs of the Municipal Assembly itself, Teshie First Junction area, Vodafone and A-Life
