The Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly (LeKMA) held a preparatory meeting for the departmental budget presentation meeting on Monday, Sept 16, 2024, at the assembly hall in Teshie. The Municipal Chief Executive, Honorable Mordecai Quarshie, the Municipal Coordinating Director, RHODALINE ADWOA CONDUAH, and other heads of departments and units attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the following matters:
Review of the 2024 budget performance and challenges
Discussion of the 2025 budget guidelines and priorities
Allocation of time slots and formats for the departmental budget presentations
Any other matters
The meeting aimed to ensure that the departments and units were ready to present their budget proposals for 2025 and address any issues or concerns regarding the budget process. The meeting also sought to align the budget proposals with the vision and mission of the assembly, and the national and regional development plans.
The meeting was part of the assembly’s efforts to promote good governance and accountability and enhance the municipality’s development and welfare.
