From May 2nd to May 30th, 2023, the Ledzokuku Municipal dedicated itself to a critical mission: raising awareness about flood disaster prevention. Through a series of workshops, community meetings, and educational campaigns, residents were empowered with knowledge and strategies to safeguard their homes and neighborhoods against the threat of flooding. The campaign emphasized the importance of early warning systems, proper land use, and the construction of resilient infrastructure.

The Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly (LeKMA) held its second quarter audit committee meeting on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the assembly hall in Teshie. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Henry Addo Opoku, with all committee members present.
The meeting discussed the following matters:
Review of previous minutes
Discussion of external auditor’s report for 2022
Discussion of internal audit report for the first quarter of 2023
Any other matters
The meeting aimed to review the financial performance and accountability of the assembly, and to address any issues or recommendations raised by the auditors. The meeting also sought to ensure compliance with the relevant laws and regulations, and to enhance the internal control systems of the assembly.

An IGF technical team meeting of the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly was held on Thursday, May 11th, 2023. The meeting which took place at the Assembly Hall saw the attendance of the M.C.E, Honourable Mordecai Quarshie, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Ing. John Tsikor and some key heads of Departments and Units at the Assembly.
The matters discussed at the meeting included analytical presentation on revenue items and updates on the 2023 property rate bills.
